Reduce pollution by not burning wood or yard waste

COVID-19 is a respiratory pandemic, please help your neighbors and reduce pollution by not burning.

As the weather starts to warm, we’re seeing more people burn wood or yard waste outside. Unnecessary burning adds an additional health issue for our neighbors with asthma and other respiratory challenges. Also, burning yard waste is illegal in most areas.

We ask everyone to refrain from burning during this time, especially outdoor or recreational fires. This will help our most at-risk friends and neighbors as we all face the COVID-19 pandemic.
