What Our Members Say About Us

As a member, we are part of a community dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of fleets across the Puget Sound region. WWCC is instrumental in helping to spread the word about the environmental and economic benefits of Propane Autogas.

Our collaboration on community outreach events and legislative efforts has helped to further the adoption of Autogas by private and public fleets, and resulted in many valuable connections. The support of WWCC coordinators is an asset to Blue Star Gas/Alliance Autogas, and ensures our inclusion in key industry events.

-Christina Suarez, Autogas Fleet Specialist, Blue Star Gas, Member Since 2011

Western Washington Clean Cities has been a valuable partner with the City of Seattle for nearly two decades. As a busy fleet manager I really value the informative workshops, technical assistance, grant opportunities, policy updates, networking and recognition opportunities provided by Western Washington Clean Cities events and newsletters. It is a really great organization and we are proud to be a part of it!

-Andrea Pratt, Green Fleet & Fuel Program Manager, City of Seattle, Member Since 1998

WWCC’s well known success tipped the scales when I moved to the area, as I am far more inclined to seek a fleet-management position in an area served by a strong Clean Cities coalition. WWCC is among the best in the country, coordinating regional green-fleet efforts and running successful and complex grant-funded programs, with that funding directed to where it can have the greatest impact.

Participation in the coalition is in the best interest of every forward-thinking fleet manager in Western Washington: It is where you meet the right people, get the best advice and find the available help for a progressive fleet.

-Matt Stewart, Fleet Services Manager, Jefferson County, Member Since 2014

Western Washington Clean Cities Coalition is a great resource for organizations wanting to green their fleets and reduce their environmental footprint. They have also proven themselves to be valuable partners by providing educational seminars and securing funding opportunities for the Western Washington region. I’m proud to be on the Western Washington Clean Cities Coalition team!

-Frank Castro, Senior Manager, Snohomish County Public Utility District, Member Since 2011

Click Wholesale Distributing has used our local Clean Cities coalition as an invaluable resource for information regarding clean energy technology that can be applied to our delivery fleet. Their staff is readily available to help educate us about options to lower our vehicle emissions and reduce our dependency on fossil fuels.

Their service has saved us time and resources by collecting information from leaders in alternative fuels, vehicle manufacturers, Puget Sound Energy and guiding us to the websites where extensive government data that has been collected. We are proud to be members of our local Clean Cities coalition and to support such a worthy cause.

-Jim Florio, CEO, Click Wholesale Distributing, Member Since 2014
